We hope you enjoy discovering what makes us passionate about art
through our pictures and biographies. Our paintings and sculptures
reflect both aesthetic beauty as well as an innate sense of humor.
Art is a chronology of our lives where we are both passive
observers and forces of change. As a family of artists, we
encourage each other to explore our artistic expression in
different media through oil paintings and ceramic sculpture.
We are both
classically trained. Suzan studied Studio Art under the tutelage
of Wayne Thiebaud at the University of California, Davis
completing her training with a B.A. in Fine Art in 1972. Suzan
recently retired from teaching to devote all of her time to her
creative endeavors.
Like her mother,
Noël also studied at Davis, completing a minor in Studio Art and a
B.S. in Biological Sciences in 2008. Noël had the unique
opportunity to study abroad in Perugia, Italy studying the Renaissance
Masters in the summer of 2007.
